FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much does it cost?
Nothing! This is a completely free service to GP Surgeries.

What’s the catch?
There is no catch. The service is totally free to GP surgeries - the only proviso is that the health and welfare leaflets we provide are the only ones that are displayed in the stand.

How often do you visit us?
We come and replenish the leaflets in the stand every 3 months. This means that the literature that you receive from us is always current.

Do you have more than one style or size of display?
We only provide one size of display for our service. This can be either in the form of a wall mounted unit or a free standing unit. We do however provide stands for you to purchase should you wish to do this to display your own leaflets and these come in 2 sizes. Please follow this link for details:

How long do we have to have the service for?
Once we have installed the display stand in your premises you are not tied into the service for a particular length of time however we would ask that before deciding to discontinue the service you contact us to let us know your concerns first. Our Operations team are available on 01489 860000 to discuss any issues you may have.

 

We are moving premises. What do you need to know?
As with our merchandising team, our maintenance team only work for a period of 3 weeks every 3 months.(February, May, August and November) Once you know you will be moving please let us know either by telephoning 01489 860000 or letting your merchandising representative know when they visit your site. We can then arrange for the display to be collected. When you are ready we can install the display in your new premises.

 

Can we have more than one display in our waiting room?
This really depends upon the size of your waiting area, the number of GP’s working at the premises and the number of patients passing through. We do have some surgeries with more than one display in their waiting room however these are large practices, with large waiting rooms and a great deal of patients passing through on a daily basis. It is worth knowing that we only provide one set of leaflets each quarter so unless they can be placed a significant distance apart it would not be of any additional benefit to provide 2 displays. Please call our Operations department on 01489 860000 to discuss your requirements.

 

Can the displays be installed in treatment rooms?
The short answer to this is no. We need to have easy access to the stand to enable our team to be able to replenish the leaflets. If the display is installed in a treatment room this access is not always available when the room is in use. The stand needs to be installed in a public area of the surgery for it to be of best use to your patients.

 

Can you provide us with extra individual leaflets?
